Martha Midgette is a Raleigh-based interior designer appreciated for her fresh, empathetic ability to blend old with new in pursuit of creating homes that leave lasting impressions. Her philosophy draws inspiration from childhood weekends spent at her great-grandmother’s and stories of her grandfather’s High Point furniture legacy, formative moments that taught her the value of pieces and places filled with meaning and history.
After 15 fulfilling years in corporate and nonprofit fundraising, Martha found herself drawn back to her lifelong love of design. In 2019, she opened a new chapter, establishing Martha Midgette Designs, where creative service and family legacy can flourish together.
Today, Martha leads large renovations, new builds, and intimate room design projects across North Carolina and the East Coast. Her clients benefit from her eye for thoughtful touches and her talent for finding vintage treasures that seem as though they were meant to be.
From weekend flea market visits to hosting dinner parties featuring her lively tablescapes and a dirty martini with blue cheese olives, and spending family time in the North Carolina mountains or on the beach with her husband and their two boys, Martha understands the warmest memories are built on love and tradition.
